How the Soul City Payment Plan Is Structured

The schedule we have on file is made up of five parts:

Together these add up to 100% of the plot price. Half of the price (50%) is spread across the monthly and half-yearly installments, which is what makes the plan attractive to people who prefer smaller recurring payments.

What You Pay in Total at Each Stage

Seeing the combined figures helps you judge how much cash you need and when.

The first column is the money you need to have ready to get started. The last column is the lump sum you should plan for at possession.

Please note: These numbers are a guide, not an offer. Ask for the dated, written schedule and confirm the due dates, any premium for special locations, taxes, transfer fees and development charges.

A Quick Way to Test Your Budget

Before choosing a size, ask yourself three questions:

1. Can I arrange the starting amount? That is the down payment plus the balloting amount (30% of the price).
2. Can I carry the recurring payments? Add the monthly installment to your share of the half-yearly payment and compare it with your regular income.
3. Will I have the possession amount ready? It is 20% of the price, so decide where it will come from instead of hoping to resell before then.

If any answer is uncertain, a smaller plot may be the more comfortable choice.

Costs That May Not Be in the Table

The table covers the plot price only. Ask for a written list of anything else you may have to pay, such as:

• premium for a corner, park-facing or main-road plot;
• transfer fee and taxes;
• development or utility charges;
• membership, processing or documentation fees;
• late-payment surcharges.

Do not assume these are included. Get the answer in writing.

What to Confirm Before You Book a Soul City Plot

• The date of the payment schedule you were given.
• The due date of each monthly and half-yearly installment.
• The exact plot number and its premium, if any.
• What happens if you miss an installment.
• The cancellation and refund terms.
• The possession conditions and expected timeline.
• Which bank account or payment channel is authorised to receive money, and how receipts are issued.

Pay only through documented, verifiable channels and keep every receipt and agreement.

Payment Plan or One-Time Payment?

An installment plan keeps the monthly burden lower, but it also means you are committed to a long schedule. A one-time payment may lower the number of obligations, but it asks for far more cash at the start. Neither is right for everyone. Choose based on your income stability, savings and how long your money can safely stay committed.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Choosing a plot by the monthly installment alone and ignoring the possession payment.
• Relying on an old schedule instead of a current dated one.
• Paying before checking documents and the exact plot position.
• Skipping a site visit.
• Assuming future price growth will cover your payments.
